I've just logged in to Ask Fedora for the first time in order to answer some question and get a badge. I've used my FAS login for that. Nevertheless I've set up a different username, as it it freely editable. After answering a question, I didn't get a badge and another badges user was created with my Ask Fedora username and recieved that badge.

Before you actually fix that bug, be sure to manually add me that badge :D

Like we talked about either in person or in IRC (I forget), this relies on either 1) having a reliable accessible mapping between FAS username and Ask username. We do not have that, although it could be added to FAS. 2) including the FAS username from the openid login in the fedmsg message emitted from askbot. You filed an issue for that at fedora-infra/askbot-fedmsg#1.

I prefer option 2 so let's call this issue blocking on fedora-infra/askbot-fedmsg#1

So fedora-infra/askbot-fedmsg#1 is now fixed. This is now just blocking on that change being deployed to staging for testing, and then production.

Built for el6 - still need to deploy and test.
