If i try to set up pkgdb2 for development, I can create a db schema but with no data actually in it. This makes getting in to development somewhat difficult.

If there could be a database dump that new developers could import, then they could perhaps get started more quickly.

Agreed, I have been wanted to make a daily dump of the db available but it's still on the todo list

This has been fixed by http://pkgdb2.readthedocs.org/en/latest/development.html#get-a-working-database
