Can we open package details (https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/[package]) in a new tab instead of opening it in same tab, so that the package can be tagged while looking at its details. Currently, we need to do it explicitly.

Yes - that should be a relatively easy fix. Just add target="_blank" to the <a> tag.
