python-dateutil will be updated to version 2.x and there may be changes that affect this package. If python-pypump will work with the newer python-dateutil, you can safely close this bug. If python-pypump really does require python-dateutil 1.5, please use Requires: python-dateutil15 for Fedora versions of the package until it can be updated.
python3-pypump shares code with python-pypump (using 2to3), and works with current python3-dateutil-2.2. So they both should work with python[3]-dateutil-2.4. The tests fail because of #1185071, so I'll leave this open for now, maybe #1185071 can be resolved first.
