#67 swag: fedora business cards for community members
Closed: Offtopic None Opened 10 years ago by mattdm.

The "quest" track = swag. Fedora Business Cards that we send to involved members would be good swag. Maybe quest badge for that. I don't know what it it would be called.

It may just be me being tired, but I'm having trouble parsing the description. What's a "quest track"? Is there actually a badge proposal in here somewhere, this "quest badge"? Thanks!

Set triaged to 'yes' for all tickets, as I've hit them all already.

just put types back in, we'll try and handle bugs here too, no new trac.

The terse description here was due to me filing this quickly from the room at Flock. It all made sense at that point in context.

I think maybe the idea was to automatically send business cards or some other swag to people who reached certain badge levels.

mattdm, what would it mean to automatically send business cards?

would we file a ticket with someone somewhere? just send an email to a human to say 'do this'?

Or... are we talking [http://www.businessinsider.com/amazon-drones-2014-7 Amazon Air octocopter style delivery?]

The last one, definitely the last one!! :-D

Well, obviously the last one. :)

I'm trying to remember the conversation from a year ago.... I think filing a ticket somewhere is a good idea. Human intervention is also good, because we can check whether the person actually wants the swag in question.

For business cards, I'm thinking the standard fedora business cards with some special emblem added. We could also have special shirts / jackets at higher levels.

Matt which level?

If I remember right, the idea at Flock was to have predefined sets of badges. Collect those, get the corresponding token of recognition.

thats sounds in another way, but I fear that might not work
